Unlocking the Power of Giga Ace: A Complete Guide to Maximize Your Performance
When I first booted up the Battlefront Collection, I wasn't expecting much beyond a simple graphical upgrade. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't just a fresh coat of paint on a classic; it's a comprehensive reimagining that fundamentally transforms how we experience these beloved games. The real game-changer, the feature I've come to call the "Giga Ace" of this collection, isn't a single element but the powerful synergy of its new content and technical overhauls. Unlocking this power is the key to maximizing your performance and enjoyment, and it goes far beyond just having quicker reflexes. It's about understanding the new battlefield.
Let's start with the most tangible new assets: the maps and heroes. The collection bundles six post-launch maps, a mix of one from the original Battlefront and five from its sequel. This immediately diversifies the tactical landscape. But for me, the true stars are the two previously Xbox-exclusive heroes, Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress, now available for all players in Battlefront 2. I've spent countless hours testing them, and they are not mere reskins. Ventress, with her aggressive, dual-bladed fury, excels at breaking enemy lines, while Kit Fisto's unique, fluid fighting style makes him a defensive powerhouse. Mastering their specific ability cooldowns and attack ranges is the first step to dominating a match. If you're still just running around as Vader or Luke, you're missing out on a massive strategic advantage this collection offers.
However, the most profound change, the one that truly unlocks the Giga Ace potential of these games, is the complete overhaul of the Hero Assault mode. Remember being confined to the dusty plains of Tatooine? That limitation is gone. The developers have unleashed the heroes and villains across every single ground-based map in the game. I can't overstate how much this changes the dynamic. Fighting as Emperor Palpatine in the narrow, claustrophobic corridors of a Star Destroyer is a completely different tactical puzzle than a wide-open brawl on the plains of Kashyyyk. This forces you to adapt your hero choice and playstyle to the environment. My performance skyrocketed when I stopped thinking of my hero as a universal tool and started treating them as a specialized instrument for a specific map's geometry. This is the core of high-level play now.
Of course, a game's longevity lives and dies by its multiplayer, and here the collection makes a monumental leap while taking one noticeable step back. The addition of cross-gen multiplayer support is a brilliant move, effectively doubling the potential player base and ensuring you can almost always find a full, vibrant match. This is crucial for maintaining a healthy ecosystem. But let's be honest, the lack of full cross-play between all platforms is a missed opportunity. It's the one feature holding this collection back from absolute perfection. On the flip side, the upgrade to 32v32 player matches is an absolute game-changer. The battlefield feels authentically chaotic and epic. The sheer scale of these conflicts means that individual performance is both more impactful and better camouflaged. You can execute flawless flanking maneuvers in the chaos, but you also need to be more aware of the macro battle, as your individual duels are just small parts of a much larger war. I've found that my win rate improved dramatically when I started paying more attention to the overall flow of the 64-player battle rather than just my immediate kill-death ratio.
So, how do you truly maximize your performance with all this in mind? It's a layered approach. First, achieve mastery with the new heroes. In my experience, an expert Ventress player can single-handedly disrupt an enemy's defensive position, creating opportunities for the entire team. Second, and this is the most important tip I can give, learn the maps for Hero Assault. Know where Boba Fett can get elevation on Bespin, or where Darth Maul's speed can be most lethal in the tight spaces of the Death Star. Finally, embrace the scale of 32v32. Play the objective relentlessly. In these massive battles, a single player focusing on command posts or shield generators contributes more to victory than a dozen players with high kill counts just hunting in the corners. The power of the Battlefront Collection is its depth. It's not just about being a better shot; it's about being a smarter, more adaptable soldier. The tools are all here, more powerful and diverse than ever before. It's up to you to unlock them.
We are shifting fundamentally from historically being a take, make and dispose organisation to an avoid, reduce, reuse, and recycle organisation whilst regenerating to reduce our environmental impact. We see significant potential in this space for our operations and for our industry, not only to reduce waste and improve resource use efficiency, but to transform our view of the finite resources in our care.
Looking to the Future
By 2022, we will establish a pilot for circularity at our Goonoo feedlot that builds on our current initiatives in water, manure and local sourcing. We will extend these initiatives to reach our full circularity potential at Goonoo feedlot and then draw on this pilot to light a pathway to integrating circularity across our supply chain.
The quality of our product and ongoing health of our business is intrinsically linked to healthy and functioning ecosystems. We recognise our potential to play our part in reversing the decline in biodiversity, building soil health and protecting key ecosystems in our care. This theme extends on the core initiatives and practices already embedded in our business including our sustainable stocking strategy and our long-standing best practice Rangelands Management program, to a more a holistic approach to our landscape.
We are the custodians of a significant natural asset that extends across 6.4 million hectares in some of the most remote parts of Australia. Building a strong foundation of condition assessment will be fundamental to mapping out a successful pathway to improving the health of the landscape and to drive growth in the value of our Natural Capital.
Our Commitment
We will work with Accounting for Nature to develop a scientifically robust and certifiable framework to measure and report on the condition of natural capital, including biodiversity, across AACo’s assets by 2023. We will apply that framework to baseline priority assets by 2024.
Looking to the Future
By 2030 we will improve landscape and soil health by increasing the percentage of our estate achieving greater than 50% persistent groundcover with regional targets of:
– Savannah and Tropics – 90% of land achieving >50% cover
– Sub-tropics – 80% of land achieving >50% perennial cover
– Grasslands – 80% of land achieving >50% cover
– Desert country – 60% of land achieving >50% cover
